Description of the course:

The European Union named Vitoria-Gasteiz European Green Capital for 2012, in recognition of its environmental and sustainable policies, which manage to improve the quality of life of its citizens and reduce the environmental impact globally. The training course included theoretical and practical training sessions for learners and teachers. The training covered design thinking, sustainable design, urban environment and opportunities of its improvement, concept of green cities, real examples of sustainable design, site visits, analysing of cases, shooting and presenting the existing examples of sustainable urban design and proposals for improving green infrastructure in the centre of Vitoria-Gasteiz.
