EDUCATION PROGRAMS

CHILDREN ARTS SCHOOL – A department of Saules skola, which implements the professional direction education program VISUAL PLASTIC ARTS.

The Children Arts School offers various lessons of visual arts for 7-15 years old children after completion of studies in general education school.

During six years of studies, the students can test their strength in different types of arts, cognize, compare, experiment, create and communicate in the visual arts language to create and defend their own Final Work with satisfaction and pride when graduating from the art school. 

The school offers to master five basic subjects to its students: drawing, painting, composition, modeling and basics of art language. In each class, it is offered to additionally learn several chief study subjects: paper plastic, graphics, textile arts, and work with materials or phyto-design.

Traditionally, there are Art School’s Fall Open Air events, Art Days actions and creative workshops in spring. The completed work is represented during the Art School’s exhibitions in Daugavpils and region.
